A metal is a material that freshly prepared, polished, or fractured, shows a lustrous appearance, and conducts electricity and heat relatively well. Metals are typically malleable they can be hammered into thin sheets or ductile can be drawn into wires. A metal may be a chemical element such as iron, or an alloy such as stainless steel.
What is ore?
Ore is an occurrence of stone or sediment that contains adequate minerals with economically significant components, typically alloys, that may be effectively extracted from the deposit. The ores are extracted from the earth through mining; they are then refined often via smelting to extract the precious component or elements. The ore tier, or concentration of an ore mineral or metallic, as well as its kind of occurrence, will directly influence the costs related to mining the ore.
